Milk Thistle ~
Botanical Name: Silybum marianum
A medicinal herb particularly that which is associated with healthy liver support and hepatitis. Can be used in combination with Dandelion Root which squeezes the liver of toxins while Milk Thistle helps to regenerate the liver. Also used for diabetes, hangover, diseases of the spleen, prostate cancer, malaria, depression, uterine complaints, increasing breast milk flow, allergy symptoms and starting menstrual flow. The seeds can also be roasted for use as a healthy coffee substitute as well as roasted dandelion root.
