Pink Amethyst is a rare recent discovery from El Choique Mine in Patagonia, Argentina. It is a completely natural version of Amethyst that became pink as a result of inclusions of Hematite within the crystals. Different shades of pink have been found recently in Brazil as well. While purple Amethyst is more concerned with psychic realms, this variety rather encourages one to view the regular world from a higher perspective. Thus, it contains grounding qualities. Pink Amethyst carries a feminine essence and offers balancing, healing, comforting, warming qualities.
