Charcoal, Activated -
A carbon based substance used for health and healing. A powerful resource to seize and eliminate toxins from the air, water and from within the human body when used correctly. Used in many bowel issues and to filter poisonings from the blood stream. Very mild on the colon. Excellent for cleansing the intestines, binding to toxic gases, Candida, parasites and other physical impurities. Bloating, flatulence and constipation are relieved. Best when bound with fibers such as psyllium powder or celery seed powder and good levels of hydration.
Important Notes when Using Activated Charcoal:
1. Never take activated charcoal at the same time of day as other supplements. Give yourself at least 2 hrs between use.
2.Because activated charcoal will bind to certain medications please advise your doctor before using this if you are taking medications.
3.Be sure to drink at least half your body weight in water while using activated charcoal.
4.Activated charcoal should be combined with a good fiber source such as psyllium powder or celery seed powder that will effectively push the charcoal through the intestines and out in the feces.
5.Best to take before bed and 3-4 hours after eating dinner.
*** Teeth Whitening Instructions:
- Wet toothbrush and dip in charcoal powder. Use up to 1 tsp per brushing.
- Start to brush teeth. It will be a little powdery at first but will moisten as you begin to brush. Brush teeth in circular motion for 3-5 minutes covering teeth with powder. ( If you prefer you can also add a small amount of toothpaste to your toothbrush and dip into the charcoal powder. )
- Rinse mouth and brush tongue well with water.
*** Please Note: Charcoal powder can be very messy! You can choose to spit in cup for easier clean up. Clean any excess powder residue from sink.
*** How often do you use activated charcoal for teeth whitening?
Suggested use: Brush once daily for 3 days. For more deeply stained teeth, brush for 5 days. You may repeat again in a few months as needed.
