Why Detox?
The body works daily to filter and eliminate toxins influenced by environmental factors, diet, and lifestyle choices. Over time, this can place extra demand on the body’s natural process, affecting overall balance and wellness.
Detoxification occurs through the blood and lymphatic system, kidneys, bladder, liver, and colon.
Supporting these areas can help promote better digestion, clearer skin, increased energy, and vitality.
Signs the Body May Need Detox Support:
• Low energy or fatigue
• Constipation
• Difficulty losing weight
• Unexplained soreness or stiffness
• Skin concerns
• White or yellow tongue coating or bad breath
• Puffy or scalloped tongue edges
• Frequent or unexplained headaches
How to Do the Full Body Detox
This cleanse is designed to focus on cleansing each organ system in the correct order, allowing up to three days for each tea before moving on to the next. During the cleanse, choose organic, healthy foods, eat light meals, stay well hydrated with water, and support the process with gentle movement such as daily walks, yoga, or meditation.
Dietary Guidelines During Detox:
• Drink plenty of water throughout the day
• Eliminate red meat, dairy, caffeine, processed foods, and artificial sweeteners
• Focus on organic fruits and vegetables, chicken, eggs, fish, legumes (beans, lentils, peas, nuts), and whole grains
• Eliminate all meat before beginning the colon cleanse
