Prickly Ash Bark
Botanical Name: Zanthoxylum clava-herculis
Also known as the Toothache Tree, has a long history of use in Native American medicine. Commonly used to cure a toothache by chewing some of the inner bark. Internally used for aches and pains, particularly those that are brought about by aging, colds, poor circulation, night cramps in the legs, rheumatism and arthritis. It is also used as a tonic or stimulant to induce sweating and help break a fever.
