White Willow Bark ~

White Willow Bark has a long history of use in European, Native American, and Traditional Chinese herbal practices. The bark naturally contains salicin and related plant compounds, which helped inspire the later development of aspirin.

Warnings & Precautions
Do not use if you are allergic or sensitive to aspirin or other salicylate-containing products.
Use with caution in individuals with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency. Starwest includes both of these precautions on its current White Willow Bark products.
Do not give to children or adolescents with viral infections because of the potential risk associated with salicylate-containing products. Mountain Rose specifically includes this warning.
If pregnant or nursing, taking prescription medications, particularly blood-thinning medications, or managing a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
