Dong Quai ~
Botanical Name: Angelica sinensis
Effective in treating digestive and respiratory disorders. Helps the body remove excess mucus and controlling cough spasms. Stimulates the immune system and has anti inflammatory properties. Also used for female problems to regulate cycles, cramps, pre menstrual syndrome and hot flashes.
Available in Herb & Herb Powder form.
NOTE: Not to be used during pregnancy. Patients undergoing surgery are advised to stop use of Dong Quai 7 days before surgery due to reported inhibition of platelet aggregation.
