Lungwort ~
Botanical Name: Pulmonaria Officinalis
Traditionally used to treat various lung disorders, such as asthma, coughs and tuberculosis. Lungwort is an astringent (contracts tissues), diuretic (increases urine flow) and expectorant (clears respiratory tract). Used internally to treat bronchitis, chronic cough, sore throat and whooping-cough. Used externally, helps treat burns, eczema, hemorrhoids, psoriasis and wounds.
