Slippery Elm Bark ~
Botanical Name: Ulmus rubra
Provides relief from a number of ailments, including Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) , digestive conditions such as colitis, diarrhea, duodenal ulcers, enteritis and gastritis. It also helps soothe coughs, colds and sore throats. In a poultice, it treats abscesses, boils, minor burn and wounds.
Available in Herb & Herb Powder form.
Warning: Slippery Elm should be taken with at least 250 ml (8 oz) of liquid.
